Neo Emotional Release blends the most effective aspects of existing therapies, such as Somatic Experiencing, Hypnosis, and Osteopathy, with the long-forgotten, ancient medicine of unconditional human presence and qualitative touch. It acknowledges the link between physical issues and unresolved emotional experiences, aligning with principles from quantum physics, neuroscience, and mind-body research.
By co-regulating, we invite deep-rooted layers from childhood, past experiences, life stressors, or ancestral wounds to surface and be processed properly. Yes! Neo Emotional Release can be done both ways. There are ways to adapt the "touch" aspect for online through verbal guidance and online sessions can sometimes be even more powerful, as you're already in the comfort of your own space which can allow you to go deeper.
I only work with women in-person, but for online Neo Emotional Release sessions, it can be a case by case basis.
These sessions are for those looking to address the emotional root cause of their physical ailments or chronic symptoms. These sessions are also good for those with issues stemming from suppression, and those looking for a sustainable way to transform their relationship to their emotions leading to more self-compassion, healthier expression, a more resilient nervous system, and uninhibited access to their joy.
If you’re feeling drawn to explore your emotions in more embodied way, this practice will be a good fit.
How many sessions you'll need will depend on you and your system.
Some clients experience immediate benefits, while others may require several or ongoing sessions for deeper healing. I recommend committing to at least 3 sessions, to begin with. This will give you a chance to adapt to the style, and for the sessions to be of the most benefit and value to your wellbeing.
After that, it's up to you. I generally recommend 6+ sessions if you are addressing a physical issue, otherwise just as and when you intuitively feel you need a Neo Emotional Release session.
Each person’s response to the sessions and needs are very unique and no two sessions are the same.
It is important to note, the amount of catharsis does not directly correlate to the level of depth or benefits a person may receive during a session. Some of the most profound sessions are the most quiet ones.
Your comfort is a priority. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, we can slow down, take a break, or adjust our approach. It’s important that you feel safe and supported throughout the process.
Yes, Neo Emotional Release sessions are generally safe and beneficial for most. However, it’s essential to discuss any specific health concerns or conditions with me beforehand to ensure sessions are approached accordingly.
The sessions are trauma-sensitive, which means we start with a slow, gentle approach to build trust in order to connect with your body's innate self-healing mechanism. Sessions are always tailored to meet you where you are at and we go at a pace that your nervous system is ready for.
